The scientific nature of psychology is emphasized throughout the course with specific modules relating to social psychology, developmental psychology, individual differences, cognitive psychology, and psychobiology. You will develop your statistical and research skills through regular laboratory-based practicals and in the final part of the course, you will complete a substantial final project on a topic of your choice.

In your second year you will continue to develop your research method skills and apply them in different areas of Psychology. During this year you will complete some core modules that will build on the knowledge gained in the first year.
