On the occasion of the International Day against Child Abuse on 19 November, IST College, with Mrs. Niki Christoulis, Health Psychologist and Head of the Psychology Department of the College, organizes a free online informative talk on “Protecting Children from Abuse: Empowerment, Education and Support”. This talk is an important opportunity to raise awareness of this critical issue for all of us.
Objectives of the webinar:
To inform us, about the forms of child abuse and the signs we need to recognize.
To provide practical advice on preventing and supporting children who may have experienced abuse.
To highlight the role of education, both for children and for parents and teachers, in preventing abuse.
