Description

The “Digital, AI & Cyber Security for Professionals” seminar is a comprehensive programme designed to prepare participants for the demands of today’s digital business environment.

In the first part, participants develop practical Digital & AI skills, with an emphasis on productivity, organization, and collaboration (Productivity & Collaboration Skills). They use tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Trello, Miro, and Canva, as well as modern AI tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Canva Magic Studio), to create professional content, optimize digital communication (Email, Online Meetings, Digital Etiquette), and effectively evaluate information.

The second part focuses on essential Cyber Security skills for understanding and addressing modern cyber threats (Phishing, Ransomware, Social Engineering), secure account management (Password Management, 2FA/MFA), data protection, proper use of cloud tools, and the adoption of incident response and reporting practices. The role of professional digital presence is also examined (Digital Identity & Digital Footprint).

The seminar also introduces participants to the legal dimension of the digital era through the module Legal & Compliance Skills in the Digital Era. This section analyzes GDPR requirements, consent models, the provisions of the EU AI Act, the implications of the NIS2 Directive, the legal framework of cybercrime, and the core principles of Digital Compliance, which have become a central issue for every organization. Upcoming legislative changes are also presented, ensuring that professionals and businesses are prepared in advance.

The program is highly practical, with immediate application to everyday work, a strong market-oriented approach, and a clear goal of meaningfully strengthening participants’ digital, technological, and legal skills.

Lecturers

Loukia Samata holds a degree in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, an MSc in e-Business and Digital Marketing, and a postgraduate PMBA degree. She works as a Digital & e-Commerce Marketing Manager in the health and dietary supplements sector and is Co-founder & CEO of Fertility Route, an online medical and tourism facilitation company specializing in in vitro fertilization (IVF).

Christos Kolaitis holds a Master’s degree (MSc) in New Information and Communication Technologies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is a Computer Programmer and Analyst, a graduate of the Computer Programmers School of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defense.
He has served as Director of the IT Department at the Nursing Institution of the Army Share Fund (NIMTS), as well as Director of the Office of Security, Internet, and Cyber Defense at the Hellenic Army General Staff (Research and Informatics Division). He has also held senior Director and Command positions in IT within the Hellenic Army General Staff, with responsibility for information security, cyber defense, and the management of information systems and networks.
He is a Certified Adult Trainer (EOPPEP) and a Certified E-Learning Instructor (EKDDA).

Dimitris Kalogeropoulos holds a Master’s degree in European and International Law from Keele University in the United Kingdom. He has over 25 years of experience as a lawyer in the fields of commercial, civil, and family law, representing individuals and businesses at both national and international levels.
He has collaborated with organizations such as JP Morgan and the United Nations (UN) and is a recommended lawyer of the British Embassy. In parallel, he is an accredited trainer of the Hellenic Association of Business Executives (EEDE), specializing in GDPR, commercial, maritime, labor, and administrative law. He has extensive experience in executive training, promoting legal compliance and operational security.
