IST College was founded in 1989 and today it is a versatile and multi-level educational institution, recognized by the Greek Ministry of Education, with operating licenses for College and Center for Lifelong Learning.
In collaboration with distinguished Universities abroad, IST College offers Bachelors and Masters, Supported Distance Learning programs, as well as Professional Training & Specialization programs, Seminars and Lifelong Learning Training Programs, as well as tailor-made corporate trainings.

IST has as its main concern the connection of education with the labor market and the employability of young people and this is actively achieved through a series of undergraduate and postgraduate study programs, which combine theory with international methodology and practice while, at the same time, answering and are adapted to the requirements of the Greek reality and the international labor market. This year, IST College has partnered with Swansea University, ranked 20th in the UK in research (The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2022) to offer two innovative Programs in Psychology:
MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience , a particularly modern and interesting master’s degree for the Connection of Mind, Brain and Artificial Intelligence and
MSc in Clinical Psychology and Mental Health , which provides an in-depth understanding of psychological theories, practices and research methodologies

Experiential education, linking education to the labor market and an emphasis on networking differentiate IST College so that graduates are ready for the careers they desire. The development of the entrepreneurial spirit and the priority in the professional rehabilitation of the graduates, is achieved through the Job Skills Program (JOP) with activities such as internships, counseling for the continuation of studies, “Business Voices” executive lectures, visits to companies ” IST on Site”, the Career Days, and of course the competition – now an institution, of Entrepreneurship and Innovation “Crazy Business Ideas” successfully implemented by IST, since 2011.
Through the encouragement of entrepreneurship and the “Crazy Business Ideas” competition, extremely successful Startups have emerged such as TaxiBeat, Simple Apps , Pollfish , Phee , Sourcelair , etc.
The “Crazy Business Ideas” competition is under the auspices of the General Secretariat of Vocational Education, Training, Lifelong Learning & Youth of the Ministry of Education and the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEA).
IST College strengthens extroversion and international orientation through the “Study Abroad” and “Semester Abroad” action. Universities abroad choose IST for their students to come and attend educational programs lasting from one week to three months in pre-selected topics related to the subject of their chosen academic studies. In turn, the students of IST College, during their interaction with the foreign students, familiarize themselves with the culture, mentality of the foreigners and acquire an internationalized perception, approach and way of thinking.
Also, in September 2023, IST College entered into a strategic partnership with Ella Resorts , the chain of luxury eco-chic hotel units that operates 7 seaside lifestyle and family resorts in Rhodes, Crete and Corfu.
This strategic partnership comes as an initiative to the ever-increasing demand for highly qualified professionals and executives in the tourism sector, one of the most important sectors for the Greek economy, with amazing professional prospects.
It is noted that the participants in the undergraduate and postgraduate programs have the possibility of immediate professional rehabilitation, either of a paid internship, from the first semester of study, but also of signing an employment contract after the end of their studies!
To strengthen its vision, IST College also collaborates, among others, with the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEA), the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce (BEP), the Association of Tax Technicians of Attica (EFEEA), the job-finding platform “InnJobs”, as well as with International Certification Bodies such as the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI), the Institute of Sales Management (ISM) and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
