The aim of this initiative is to create a communication channel between professionals in the Yachting industry and IST College students interested in pursuing a career in the field.

Co-organized with the Education Committee of the Hellenic Yacht Crew Association (HYCA).

George Parisis, Cpt. MMa, MSc (Marine Engineering Management), M.Di, Shipping Instructor, Chairman of the Education Committee, Hellenic Yacht Crew Association (HYCA)

George Parisis is a Master Mariner (STCW) and Yacht Account Manager. He holds a Master’s degree (MSc) in Marine Engineering Management from the University of Greenwich and is a certified Dive Master by PADI. He has been approved by the University of Greenwich as an instructor for higher education programs such as the MSc Marine Engineering Management and the BA Hons Business Studies (Shipping). He specializes in VIP Protection & Anti-terrorism Tactics according to the regulations of the Israeli Ministry of Defense and international standards. Additionally, he is a certified Open Water Lifeguard and a specialized Marine Ecology Diver by SSI International. He also holds a certificate in emotional management in communication. He has developed 23 educational programs in the Yachting sector in collaboration with leading industry companies and educational institutions, actively contributing to the enhancement of maritime personnel skills.
