Description

The aim of the specific seminar is the training and certification of the participants in the psychometric tools of Ariston and the practical training in the vocational guidance of teenagers and adults so that they can immediately join the professional labor market and work as Vocational Guidance and Career Counselors. At the same time, the information and the highlighting of the basic principles of counseling around issues related to professional orientation and the issues that arise regarding the appropriate choice of profession. Those who attend the seminar will have the opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge regarding the main problems that arise in relation to career decisions, both for teenage students and adult students.

The seminar develops the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of Career Guidance so that the participants can effectively support teenagers and adults to identify and explore their career options, make informed decisions about their future and develop strategies to achieve their goals. Although the prevailing perception is that Career Guidance is useful for teenagers and those just starting their careers, today’s reality shows us that career change is now an option and can concern us at every stage of our professional life.

Entry Requirements

The program is addressed to Psychologists and Mental Health Counselors, to Social Workers, Career Counselors, Study and I.E.C Counselors, to Teachers, to Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students of related specialties as well as to Parents.

Ariston Psychometrics

The ARISTON test is an innovative, expert Vocational Orientation system, which is based on psychometrics and established statistical models and investigates the personality, inclinations, abilities, skills and interests of each person and identifies the professions that suit them. Based on the above data, the young person can decide on the studies and profession to follow in order to ensure a successful career. It is particularly important that this is a series of psychometric tests weighted and adapted to the Greek reality of the educational system and professions.

Lectures

Sotiris Koutsouradis is an honors graduate of the Department of International & European Studies of the University of Piraeus and holds a Master of Science in International Business Administration, (Marconi International University, Miami, USA). He has obtained a Master’s degree in Counseling and Vocational Guidance for Adolescents and Adults. He has been involved in the education and training of young people for the last 12 years. In recent years he has founded the company Master Growth – Career and Business Coaching (www.mastergrowth.gr) which provides a set of services so that every person, at any stage of his life, can find a trusted, experienced and independent ally in his professional and academic decisions.

Niki Christouli is a Health Psychologist, a graduate of Cardiff Metropolitan University (First Class Honours), with an MSc in Health Psychology (In Distinction). He has been trained in Group and Individual Synthetic Psychotherapy, in Clinical Psychopathology (Basic & Advanced) (1st Psychiatric Clinic of EKPA, E.P.I.P.Y. & Promotion of Knowledge in Mental Disorders), as well as in couple therapy and family. He has worked in the evaluation of neuropsychological tests of the A’ Neurological Clinic of the Aeginite Hospital, as well as in online counseling services. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), of the Behavioral Research and Therapy Institute, while at the same time, she is in charge of the Psychology Department of IST College and an external collaborator of the 2nd Neurological Clinic, P.G.N Attikon, participating in research protocols and investigations.

Konstantina Stavrogiannis is a Clinical Neuropsychologist, a graduate of the Department of Psychology of the University of Crete, with an MSc in Clinical Neuropsychology and Mental Neurosciences from the Department of Medicine of EKPA, in collaboration with McGill University (“Excellent”). She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and provides her services at the Behavioral Research and Therapy Institute. In addition, he has collaborated with private Vocational Guidance Centers and has experience in diagnosing learning difficulties and counseling children, teenagers and adults. It provides psychotherapeutic and neuropsychological services for a multitude of neurological disorders and psychological difficulties. At the same time, he is a member of the teaching staff of the Department of Psychology of the IST College and is an external collaborator of the 2nd Neurological Clinic, PGN Attikon, participating in research protocols and investigations.
