The Introduction to Positive Psychology course will explore key topics such as happiness, resilience, gratitude and positive relationships, offering a mix of theoretical knowledge and practical exercises. Participants will learn how to apply the principles of Positive Psychology in their daily lives to enhance personal and professional well-being, improve relationships, and cultivate a positive mindset.

Positive Psychology is a branch of psychology that focuses on the study of the positive aspects of human life, including well-being and happiness. The field aims to understand and advance the conditions that allow individuals, communities and societies to thrive. It explores various topics such as

positive emotions, positive characteristics, positive relationships and positive institutions. Positive Psychology seeks to apply this knowledge in a variety of areas, including education, work, and therapy, to improve life satisfaction and well-being.

Lectures

Niki Christouli is a Health Psychologist, a graduate of Cardiff Metropolitan University (First Class Honours), with an MSc in Health Psychology (In Distinction). He has been trained in Group and Individual Synthetic Psychotherapy, in Clinical Psychopathology (Basic & Advanced) (1st Psychiatric Clinic of EKPA, E.P.I.P.Y. & Promotion of Knowledge in Mental Disorders), as well as in couple therapy and family. He has worked in the evaluation of neuropsychological tests of the A’ Neurological Clinic of the Aeginite Hospital, as well as in online counseling services. Currently, she specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), of the Behavioral Research and Therapy Institute, while at the same time, she is the head of the Psychology Department of IST College and a research associate of the 2nd Neurological Clinic, P.G.N Attikon, participating in research protocols and surveys.
