Graduates of IEK, depending on the curriculum they have completed, may be admitted directly into the second year of the BBA in Sports Management.

Panagiotis Triantopoulos, founder and CEO of NIB Services, with more than 30 years of experience in the sports industry, has served as CEO and Vice President of the D.P.G. Group active in the fields of electronic publishing, Digital Marketing, Web Development etc., CEO and President of Panathinaikos BC, Managing Director of AEK BC and Business Director of the Panionios basketball team. At the same time, he participated in the boards of EUROLEAGUE, E.O.K. and ESAKE.

Objective of the programme

Sports management is an interdisciplinary field that combines elements of business administration, marketing, law and finance, all tailored to the context of the sports industry. IST College’s Sports Management Undergraduate Degree Programme aims to prepare graduates for a wide range of roles, from sports marketing and event management to facility operations and sports analytics. Stories of graduates who have moved into roles with major sports teams, global sportswear companies and international sporting events highlight the versatility of the degree. For example, imagine going from a classroom discussion about sports marketing strategies to leading an advertising campaign for a major sports company.

Sport is a universal language that transcends borders, cultures and languages. An Undergraduate Degree Programme in Sports Management at IST College aims not only to provide knowledge of the global sports industry, but also to foster an understanding of how sport can be used as a tool for international development, diplomacy and cultural exchange. As a Graduate of the Undergraduate Degree Programme in Sports Management, you can work as a consultant, as an administrative staff as well as an executive in small and large sports businesses and sports organizations. The BBA In Sports Management programme is addressed to graduates of private and public Institute of Vocational Training, who have successfully completed their two-year programme and are holders of an Institute of Vocational Training diploma, who wish to upgrade their studies in just 2 year, by directly enrolling in the 2rd year of the academic programme, obtaining an internationally recognized Bachelor’s degree and thus enhancing their career prospects, both in Greece and abroad.

The direct enrolment in the 2rd year of studies (top-up) requires the presentation of the Certificate of Vocational Training of a private or public Institute of Vocational Training from a programme of related specialisation

The BBA In Sports Management offers you the opportunity to continue your studies at postgraduate level.

The programme is offered in class at scheduled sessions within our facilities located on 68 Syngrou Avenue (next to the ‘Syngrou – Fix’ Metro station). Through our modern educational platform you also have the opportunity to follow classes live on line (synchronous e-learning).

Certificate of Vocational Training from a public or private Institute of Vocational Training of corresponding specialty.

Teaching is in Greek.

IST College Administrative Staff will be at your disposal to help you register. All you need is to come to IST College, having the necessary registration documents with you, to see them click here.

The payment method for IST College’s already affordable tuition fees is particularly flexible. In consultation with IST College’s financial services, it is possible to make a partial or one-time payment with a corresponding discount.

Also, the Education Advisor will inform you of the financial and social criteria that will secure you a tuition subsidy of up to 30%, supported by the IST College Student Welfare Fund.
